Ajith Henry is a Managing Partner at Capital Gate Advisors. Situated in Abu Dhabi and covering the Gulf region, Ajith leads the Financial Communications practice specializing in corporate reputation and transaction communications.

Prior to founding Capital Gate Advisors, Ajith was the Head of Strategic Communications at FTI Consulting in the Middle East where he advised on some of the leading IPOs in the region including Salik, Parkin, Empower, Modern Mills, Abraj Energy/OQ, Abu Dhabi Ports and ACWA Power, among others.

Ajith has extensive experience in financial communications and IR advisory gained on some of the leading FIs, government entities, and public-listed companies throughout a 20-year career spanning the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India and Africa. He lived and worked in Riyadh for over three years operating at the heart of Vision 2030 and Financial Sector Development Programme (FSDP). During this time, he helped several Saudi entities establish communications and IR function whilst also training CEOs and EXCO members on media strategies and developing compelling messaging and narratives.

He worked in the Gulf for over 15 years advising FIs, financial regulators and large public-sector corporations such as the UAE Central Bank, Tadawul, Emirates NBD, Standard Chartered, BNY Mellon, and Saudi Aramco, among others.
